Before this lesson, I didn't know that Microsoft Word could do so much! I knew it could autocorrect words and do some grammar checks, but I didn't know it has a thesaurus and word replacements. These are such useful functions when it comes to editing documents.
I have yet to use the word replacement function, but did dabble into thesaurus when I wrote my last essay for my English class. I'm not great with word, but I always have ideas. This function has helped me find the best word to use when writing an essay. It made me sound a little bit smarter hahaha!
I would love to use the word replacement function in the future because it's really cool. Though, that would mean I made some major mistakes in my assignments. Very satisfying to use it in the lessons at least!
The thesaurus made me sound a little bit smarter as well ^_^
ReplyDeleteGlad 4.6.4 Document Editing Facts exposed you to some of the many useful features of Microsoft Word :-)
May features beyond autocorrect, grammar/spelling checks, thesaurus, word replacements help you further compose and polish your documents!
Word replacement shocked me as well. I occasionally get writers block and run out of words to spruce up whatever I'm typing. I can see me using word replacement in the future to expand my vocabulary.
ReplyDeleteThe Thesaurus and word replacement functions are very efficient. The word replacement function has helped me a lot when it comes to writing my essays. It saves me plenty of time when there's a word or phrase I don't want to keep re-typing.
ReplyDeleteAs foreigner myself when it comes writing the one thing struggle was grammar . Now instead accepting the recommended one I am also trying thesaurus to help me correct my mistakes as well
ReplyDeleteI used to not like Word at all but after this chapter I really started to liking it and understand some of its features better.
