I used to struggle with getting my documents to print the way I want it to. I would go back and adjust a lot of things to get it right. After learning about printing functions, I have an easier time printing my documents. Before this I never knew that I can just adjust things from the printing settings. I can just select print certain parts of the documents rather than deleting things and printing multiple times.
Before learning about this chapter, I thought I knew it all about printing a document. What is there to it right? It's just printing out papers. Wrong. There's so many functions I can choose from. I was truly shocked when I was studying this chapter. This had helped me save a lot of time, papers, and frustrations.
When I was a college student many many years ago, I went through a similar experience as I learned about the plethora of options for printing :-)

I think because we usually only print regular 8x11 documents, we don't get to see the vast amount options we have for printing. This chapter really opened my eyes to the printing options..
ReplyDeleteI agree that learning about the different printing options was very helpful in my school and work life. I've always thought that you had to add a computer to the device just to change a printer. Now I know that these can be added and will be saved to the device as well.

ReplyDeleteKnowing the ins and outs of your files and how you can prepare them for printing is just as important as the printing process itself. I speak from experience, as this has helped in all my daily tasks in life. Whether for my side business, at work, or for school work, it is important to see how efficient you can be, knowing the options you have for printing. I'm glad to hear you are on your way to being a printing master!
ReplyDeleteIt seems simple: press print and the document comes out. When in fact, there are a bunch of features and options when it comes to printing your papers. You can customize anything from the layout to printing one specific page from your text.

ReplyDeleteI loved this chapter and learning about changing settings. I really appreciated the Set Print Area setting and will be using it in the future.
